1. Shipping Eligibility & Coverage
We currently offer shipping to all contiguous United States (48 states), as well as select U.S. territories including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. Please note that shipping rates and delivery timelines may vary for these non-contiguous states and territories, and additional fees may apply due to remote location and specialized transportation requirements. Unfortunately, we do not ship to international addresses (outside the United States), P.O. boxes, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, or extremely remote areas that are not accessible by standard or specialized shipping carriers.
All orders must be shipped to a valid physical address (residential or commercial) that can accept delivery of fishing gear, including large, oversized items such as fishing rods (8 feet or longer), crab pots, nets, anchors, and other bulky fishing equipment. You are solely responsible for providing an accurate, complete, and up-to-date shipping address, including any apartment numbers, suite numbers, or other necessary details. We are not liable for delayed, lost, or misdelivered orders due to incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address information provided by you. If you are located in a U.S. territory, remote area, or have questions about shipping availability to your location, please contact our customer service team prior to placing your order to confirm.
2. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on several factors, including the weight, size, and dimensions of your order, the shipping destination, and the selected shipping method. For fishing gear, specific shipping cost considerations apply to both standard and oversized items, as outlined below:
2.1 Standard Shipping Costs
For standard-sized fishing gear (such as fishing reels, lures, tackle boxes, fishing line, and small accessories), shipping costs are determined by your order total and delivery location. Standard shipping costs for contiguous 48 states typically start at $7.99 for orders under $10, $9.95 for orders between $10 and $149.99, and increase slightly with larger order totals. For Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, standard shipping costs start at $19.99 and may vary based on order weight and size.
2.2 Oversized Item Shipping Fees
Oversized fishing gear requires specialized packaging and handling to ensure safe delivery, and additional shipping fees apply. Oversized items include, but are not limited to, fishing rods (especially one-piece rods 8 feet or longer), crab pots, kill bags, anchors, weights, large nets, and bulky tackle storage systems. For most oversized items shipped to contiguous 48 states, the flat shipping fee is $24.99, while larger items such as 8-foot+ one-piece fishing rods incur an additional $150 shipping fee due to specialized packaging and transportation requirements. For Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, oversized shipping fees start at $44.99 and may increase based on the item’s size and weight.
2.3 Free Shipping Promotion
We occasionally offer free shipping promotions for eligible orders. Eligibility for free shipping is typically based on a minimum order value (e.g., orders over $500 qualify for free standard shipping to contiguous 48 states) or specific product categories. Please note that free shipping promotions exclude oversized items (especially 8-foot+ one-piece fishing rods), and are limited to standard shipping within the contiguous 48 states. All free shipping promotions are subject to change without notice, and any applicable restrictions (e.g., delivery location, order size, excluded items) will be clearly stated in the promotion details. Free shipping is calculated after all discounts are applied.
3. Shipping Methods & Delivery Timelines
We partner with trusted U.S. shipping carriers, including USPS, UPS, and specialized freight carriers for oversized fishing gear, to ensure reliable and secure delivery of your orders. The available shipping methods and estimated delivery timelines vary based on your location and the type of fishing gear you purchase, as outlined below:
3.1 Standard Shipping (Contiguous 48 States)
Standard shipping is the default option for most standard-sized fishing gear. Estimated delivery time for standard shipping is 3–7 business days from the date of order processing, excluding weekends and U.S. statutory holidays. Delivery timelines may be longer for remote or rural areas within the contiguous 48 states. Most standard-sized orders are processed and shipped within 1–2 business days after payment is confirmed.
3.2 Standard Shipping (Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico)
For orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, standard shipping delivery timelines are estimated at 5–10 business days from the date of order processing, due to the remote location and additional transportation time. Shipping carriers may require additional handling for these locations, which may extend delivery times slightly.
3.3 Oversized Item Shipping
Due to their size, weight, and fragility (especially fishing rods and large nets), oversized fishing gear requires specialized shipping and delivery services. Estimated delivery time for oversized items is 5–10 business days from the date of order processing for contiguous 48 states, and 7–14 business days for Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. We work with specialized freight carriers to ensure these items are packaged securely (e.g., fishing rods are shipped in sturdy cardboard tubes) and transported safely. We may coordinate a delivery window with you to ensure someone is available to receive the order, as oversized items cannot be left unattended.
3.4 Expedited Shipping
Expedited shipping is available for eligible orders upon request, for an additional fee. Expedited shipping is only available for in-stock items, and eligibility may be limited for oversized fishing gear. Estimated delivery time for expedited shipping is 1–3 business days from the date of order processing for contiguous 48 states. For Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, expedited shipping delivery timelines are 3–5 business days. To request expedited shipping, please indicate your preference in the “Special Instructions” box during checkout, or contact our customer service team for a quote. Please note that expedited shipping requires a valid street address (P.O. boxes are not accepted for expedited delivery), and orders received after 2:00 PM Eastern Time may ship the next business day. Delivery dates for expedited shipping do not include weekends or U.S. statutory holidays.
3.5 Order Processing Time
All orders are processed within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding U.S. statutory holidays) after payment is confirmed. Processing time does not include shipping or delivery time. For custom fishing gear, personalized tackle, or limited-stock items, processing time may be longer (3–7 business days), and this will be clearly stated on the product page. We strive to process and ship all orders as quickly as possible to ensure you receive your fishing gear in a timely manner.
4. Order Tracking
Once your order is processed and shipped, we will send a shipping confirmation email to the email address associated with your account. This email will include a unique tracking number and a link to the carrier’s website, where you can track the status of your delivery in real time. You can also track your order by logging into your account on fishplus.shop and navigating to the “Order History” section.
For orders over $100, we recommend adding shipping insurance to ensure full reimbursement in the event of misdelivery, loss, or damage. If you do not receive a tracking number within 3 business days of placing your order, or if your tracking information shows no movement for more than 48 hours, please contact our customer service team for assistance.
5. Delivery Requirements & Responsibilities
5.1 Receiving Your Order
You (or an authorized representative) must be present at the shipping address to receive the delivery, especially for oversized fishing gear (such as fishing rods, crab pots, and large nets). If no one is available to receive the delivery, the carrier may leave a delivery notice with instructions to reschedule delivery or pick up the order from a local carrier facility. Failure to pick up the order within the carrier’s specified timeframe may result in the order being returned to us, and you may be responsible for return shipping fees and a restocking fee (especially for oversized or custom items).
5.2 Inspecting Your Order Upon Delivery
It is your responsibility to inspect your order immediately upon delivery, especially for fragile fishing gear such as rods, reels, and delicate lures. Before signing for the delivery, please check the packaging and the product for any damage, scratches, dents, missing parts, or incorrect items. Fishing rods should be inspected for cracks or breaks, reels for damage to handles or mechanisms, and tackle for missing pieces.
If the packaging is damaged, or if the product appears to be defective, damaged, or incorrect, please note this on the delivery receipt and take clear photos of the damage (including the packaging and the affected item). Contact our customer service team within 48 hours of delivery to report the issue, and we will assist you with a replacement, refund, or repair. If you sign for the delivery without noting any damage or issues, we will assume the order was received in good condition, and we may be unable to assist with damage claims after the fact.
6. Shipping Restrictions & Prohibited Items
Certain fishing gear and related items may be subject to shipping restrictions due to size, weight, or regulatory requirements. Prohibited items for shipping include hazardous materials (e.g., flammable liquids, gases, chemicals used in fishing baits or treatments), perishable goods (e.g., live bait, fresh fishing bait that cannot be properly preserved during shipping), and items that require special controlled handling beyond our standard shipping services. Additionally, some oversized fishing gear (such as 8-foot+ one-piece rods) may not be eligible for shipping to remote or rural areas due to carrier limitations.
If you are importing fishing gear into the United States, please note that you may be subject to Importer Security Filing (ISF) requirements, also known as the 10+2 rule, which is mandated by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). This filing requires specific shipment information (including manufacturer details, HS codes, and packaging information) to be submitted at least 24 hours before the cargo is loaded onto a vessel bound for the U.S. Failure to comply with ISF filing requirements may result in penalties or shipment delays. If you attempt to order a prohibited or restricted item, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund your payment, with a notification sent to your email address.
7. Address Changes & Order Modifications

We can only make address changes or order modifications if the order has not yet been processed or shipped. Once the order is processed and handed over to the carrier, we cannot change the shipping address or modify the order, and you may be responsible for any additional fees associated with redirecting the delivery.

We work closely with our shipping carriers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of all orders. However, delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, including weather conditions, carrier delays, customs processing (for U.S. territories), incorrect address information, or logistical issues.
Delayed Orders: If your order is delayed beyond the estimated delivery timeline, please contact our customer service team with your order number and tracking information. We will investigate the delay with the carrier and provide you with an updated delivery estimate. We are not liable for any additional costs or inconveniences caused by delayed deliveries.
Lost or Misdelivered Orders: If your order is marked as delivered but you have not received it, or if it is misdelivered due to carrier error, please contact us within 7 business days of the estimated delivery date. We will work with the carrier to locate the order. If the order cannot be located, we will offer a replacement or a full refund, at our discretion. For orders over $100, shipping insurance is recommended to cover losses due to misdelivery or loss.
9. International Shipping (Not Available)
At this time, fishplus.shop does not offer international shipping. We only ship to addresses within the United States and select U.S. territories (Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico). We do not ship to Canada, Mexico, or any other international locations. 8-foot+ fishing rods and live bait cannot be shipped internationally under any circumstances. If you are located outside the United States and wish to purchase our products, please contact our customer service team for further assistance (though we cannot guarantee shipping availability).
10. Packaging Information
We take great care in packaging your fishing gear to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. All standard-sized items are packaged in sturdy boxes with protective materials to prevent damage during transit. Fishing rods are shipped in durable cardboard tubes to protect them from bending, cracking, or breaking. Oversized items such as crab pots and nets are wrapped in protective material and packaged in large, reinforced boxes to ensure safe delivery. Shipping fees include handling, packing, and postage costs, which are fixed flat rates for most items.
